Are the ferry to Samsø on schedule?

Traffic Information

Cancellation at Sælvig-Aarhus route: Thursday, July 2 at 19:45 and 21:00, as well as all day on Friday, July 3.

Due to strong winds and wave heights exceeding the limits for fast-ferry operations, we unfortunately have to cancel the following sailings on Thursday, July 2:

From Sælvig to Aarhus at 19:45

From Aarhus to Sælvig at 21:00

As well as all sailings on Friday, July 3.

A commuter bus for foot passengers will be provided, departing from Hou Harbour on Friday, July 3 at 06:45, and from the ferry berth at Dokk1 in Aarhus at 16:00. Bicycles cannot be brought on board. Registration is required no later than Thursday, July 2 at 16:00 by calling 70225900 or emailing tilsamsoe@samsoe.dk.

Tickets for the affected sailings will be automatically cancelled and refunded. If you hold a return ticket where the first leg has not been used, the entire ticket will be cancelled.

Normal operations are expected on the Sælvig–Hou route, so we recommend using this route instead.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.

Sincerely,

Samsø Rederi

We always give notice

We will let your know as soon as we know something....

We send out traffic information if we deviate from schedule for more than 15 minutes.

We put a virtue in letting our customers know what is going on. So you can be sure that if it says that we are on schedule, we are.

As soon as we know we are going to be delayed or something else, we will let you know as soon as possible.

Broadcasting traffic information is not just about updating the information on this page. We also send text messages via our text message service. Just as we have to deal with a delay or cancellation by closing departures in our system, possibly moving customers to new departures, calling hauliers who need to move their trucks to new departures and much more.

We are therefore always very busy when we experience delays or cancellations. Therefore, we encourage you to follow along on this page and not call or write to us, as we have nothing more to say than you can read here.

Thank you for your understanding.
