In 2024 you can get a day ticket for both routes.
Aarhus - Sælvig
On the route Aarhus - Sælvig you can bring two children on a day ticket free of charge.
PRICES 2024
The price on the route Aarhus - Sælvig for adults is only 28€ for a round trip during the discount periods. For seniors or children traveling alone the price is 18€.
During the Danish summer holiday the price for adults is 36€ and 20€ for seniors and children traveling alone.
Hou - Sælvig
On the route Hou - Sælvig you can get a day ticket with a car with up to 5 people for only 50€ during our discount periods and 81€ during the Danish Sommer Holiday.
In the discount periods, the day ticket is valid on Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays and school holidays (outside the standard period)
During the Danish summer holiday, the day ticket is valid for all departures except

Travel to Samsø with a discount most of the year
If you travel during our discount periods, you can travl to Samsø with big discounts.
On the route Hou - Sælvig you can get a single trip by car incl. 5 people for only 35€. Price during the Danish summer holiday is 78€
On the route Aarhus - Sælvig you can travel to Samsø for just 18€ for adults and only 11€ for children and seniors. During the Danish summer holiday, the price for adults is 23€ and 12€ for children and seniors.

Need to bring your caravan to Samsø?
On 2 of our departures on the route Hou - Sælvig, you can bring your caravan to Samsø for free.
The price for an ordinary car is only 35€ during the discount periods and 78€ in the standard period.
The offer with free caravan to Samsø applies to the departure from Hou at 10.00 pm and the departure from Sælvig at 05.45 amPlease note!

About Samsø
The island and the surrounding sea invite to a wonderful mix of deep relaxation in tranquil surroundings and super holiday activities.
The beaches vary from wide child-friendly beaches with shallow water, over to the slightly deeper, and in some places more rocky beaches. Here, on the other hand, there are often good fishing opportunities. Everywhere the water is clear and with the long coastline of 120 km it means that the beaches are never crowded.
Despite a size of just 114 km2, there is still on this small area an indescribably beautiful and completely varied nature, which offers many experiences and opportunities. The landscape and the short distances make it ideal for example for bike vacations.
