Are the ferry to Samsø on schedule?

Traffic Information

Update on cancellation on October 3rd and 4th

Unfortunately, we will have to cancel the following departures:

On the route Sælvig – Hou:

D. 3-10 at 20:45 from Sælvig and 22:00 from Hou

D. 4-10 at 5:45 and 8:15 from Sælvig and 7:00 and 9:30 from Hou

The first departure on the route Sælvig – Hou on the 4th-10th will be at 10:45 from Sælvig and at 12:00 from Hou.

The cancellations on the route Sælvig – Hou are due to gales with gusts of wind of storm force from the south combined with strong northerly currents.

On the route Sælvig – Aarhus, the following are cancelled:

D. 4-10 at 7:45 and 9:00 from Sælvig and 10:15 and 12:45 from Aarhus.

We expect to start operating from the departure from Sælvig at 3:15 p.m., but it depends on the development of the weather forecast. We will update this here on the website on the 4th-10th at approximately 10:00 a.m. There may be a risk of cancellations again on Sunday the 5th-10th, but we will also update this here on the website on the 4th-10th at approximately 10:00 a.m. So stay updated here on the page.

The cancellations on the Sælvig – Aarhus route are due to a wave height above the permitted level.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Kind regards, Samsø Rederi

On Monday and Tuesday, October 6th and 7th, Lilleøre will undergo a planned service inspection, which cannot be carried out during operation. Therefore, the following departures on the two days are cancelled:

From Sælvig at 3:15 p.m.

Unfortunately, the service inspection could not be carried out while the ferry was in the shipyard, as the technicians were not able to arrive earlier.

We always give notice

We will let your know as soon as we know something....

We send out traffic information if we deviate from schedule for more than 15 minutes.

We put a virtue in letting our customers know what is going on. So you can be sure that if it says that we are on schedule, we are.

As soon as we know we are going to be delayed or something else, we will let you know as soon as possible.

Broadcasting traffic information is not just about updating the information on this page. We also send text messages via our text message service. Just as we have to deal with a delay or cancellation by closing departures in our system, possibly moving customers to new departures, calling hauliers who need to move their trucks to new departures and much more.

We are therefore always very busy when we experience delays or cancellations. Therefore, we encourage you to follow along on this page and not call or write to us, as we have nothing more to say than you can read here.

Thank you for your understanding.
